Main Swimming Pool
Our main pool is 25m by 9.1m and is heated to 28 degrees Celsius. The water depth in the shallow end is 1m and at the deep end is 2m. We have three sets of step ladders into the pool, and walk-in steps into the shallow end of the pool. It’s perfect for swimming lengths and splashing around with friends and family, and is host to lots of different session types.
Toddler Pool
Our toddler pool is 5m by 3m and is 45cm deep. Like our main pool, it is also heated to 28 degrees Celsius, and has walk-in steps. Redesigned for 2026, the pool is now larger than before and also has a water feature! It’s the ideal place for splashing around with your little ones.
Changing Rooms
We have two separate changing rooms – our mens changing room and ladies changing room. These have benches around them for changing, and both changing rooms have limited private changing cubicles. Each changing room also has two toilets, hand washing facilities, two showers in cubicles and baby changing tables.
Kiosk
Our kiosk is home to our volunteers who welcome you to the pool. From here we can accept payments for swims and sell refreshments including hot drinks, cold drinks, ice creams, chocolate, sweets, and other items like goggles and swimming nappies. You are able to give your basket (issued to you on entry) with your personal items in to the volunteers where it is stored for safe keeping during your swim.
Accessible to All Changing Facilities
We aim to be as accessible as possible so that everyone can enjoy our pool. We have an accessible to all changing room on poolside that can be accessed on level ground from our entrance. It has benches for changing, a toilet, hand washing facilities and a shower. This can also be used for families to change in with a mix of genders.
Hoist
We have a hoist chair available to assist individuals with mobility issues into and out of the water. It is a state-of-the-art electric hoist that can be used for individuals up to 145kg. Lifeguards have the right to refuse usage of the hoist should they deem it to be unsafe for our customers.
Spectators Area
Our spectators area is where we allow people to watch those swimming. It has a mix of tiered paving slabs for getting a higher view of the pool (useful for spectating events) and a flat area. There are a number of benches and parasols in this area.
Outside Showers
We also offer two heated outside showers beside the entrances to the mens and ladies changing rooms on poolside. Of course, you can use your own soap and shampoo in these showers too.
Covered Area
Our covered area is a multifunctional area that is around 10m by 3m. It can be used for outside changing or relaxing on poolside whilst in the shade.
Sunbathing
We have a number of sun loungers which are spread out on poolside for individuals to soak up the sun! We also have parasols available to provide some much needed shade on a hot day.
Drinking Water Fountain
There is a water fountain available for pool users by the mens changing rooms. This provides fresh drinking water so pool users can remain hydrated during their visit.
Floats and Inflatables
During your swim, we are able to lend out kick boards and pull buoys for you to use whilst swimming. During general swimming, we can also lend out some larger floats at the lifeguard’s discretion. In designated inflatable sessions, we have a 20m inflatable obstacle course which is great fun for children to play on!
Recreation Ground
We are situated right next to the Recreation Ground, which is a large grass field with an attached play park. Before or after your swim, why not enjoy spending some time there in the sun!
